Wellingtons, sun hat and a woolly jumper. All safely packed in the suitcase ready for the Eisteddfod.
Despite the nice weather we've had so far this spring I'm taking no chances. The Urdd Eisteddfod in the past has been marked by some pretty horrendous weather. I still recall, with a shudder, the wind and rain which lashed the Dyffryn Ogwen festival in 1986 - and the mud that followed.
And the weather forecast for the first part of next week isn't good at all. There could even be snow on high ground! Its a shame really - organisers work very hard for months on end to prepare Europe's biggest youth festival and the weather is completely out of their hands.
But in the best traditions the show will go on and the Daily Post will be there. We'll bring you reports every day and this blog will be updated regularly.
On top of that will be a large gallery of photos on our website.
So see you in Carmarthen!
